Typical responsibilities of a risk manager
Organize the risk management function. Implement procedures leading to the appropriate conduct of risk management activities. Measure and supervise market risks: VaR, stress tests, portfolio updating. Measure and supervise credit risks: counterparty, compliance, Basel Accord. Measure and supervise operational and organization-specific risks.
